I think both sides need to take a fair share of the blame. But at the end of the day welcome to systems hockey, something that we didn't have under Hartley, and the players might have gotten spoiled by it.

But we can't keep firing coaches and replacing GMs. And frankly these slow starts are completely on the players.

Maybe if there's a fault with the exception of Bennett, there haven't been any consequences for our stars.

Personally in a game like this, We might as well pass a message on to the so called not only core but leadership group of this team and staple their asses to the bench.

Shots are 13-8 Flames and the play was in the Oilers end more often than not.

If not for a bad bounce off the refs skate and a weak goal let in by Johnson the Flames are only down 1-0.

You get more breaks if you do the right things in the defensive zone. For some reason they were just off to start the game.

I have been putting the kids to bed so I missed everything so far. However I can't say I am surprised, I watched them front row Thursday and saw the hot mess they are right now.

Put me down as just shocked they went with Johnson. Dude had 3 softies Thursday and looked awful. GG must know something I don't because Johnson looked like he was needing a recharge just two days ago.
