This is why hockey is boring. The Flames had some great shifts and are buzzing but in today's hockey only defections, 3rd chances, or perfect plays beat goalies

Flames didn't bother to show up and got behind early. Entire team has looked terrible outside of Backlund and one really great shifty by Bouma.

Oh, and Johnson has been great. In fact he's the only reason it's a 1 goal game.

I really hope Johnson is in goal tomorrow. I have a feeling the Flames are gonna need his ability to stop breakaways.

Pinching, which at this stage is okay (we need it), but yeah - Gio and Hamilton apparently do have issue communicating when it comes to opposition sneaking behind them for breakaways...
