I haven't minded Wideman tonight. Not overplaying or trying things he can't do.

It's the Wideman factor. At this point I really think it's a thing.

The bigger name players are slowly coming into form.

Bennett (offensive zone penalties notwithstanding)
Hamilton
Elliott
Brodie
Heck...Even Wideman is playing well again.

Seeing flashes from Gaudreau and Monahan, but they need to be so much better for this team to win games consistently.

Unlike Mr. Eliott, unfortunately Johnny does not play better when pissed off. Frustration deteriorates his game. He's gotta calm things down upstairs.

The best part of Ferland is that he rarely actually gets mad.

Players with that physical ability and mean streak are rarely so well composed.

Very well. I would like to see him on the Monahan line to jump start them.

After two deserving wins in a row and outshooting opponents in (I believe) all games prior to that, I'll take this. Would've gladly traded outshooting for outscoring in those first 6 games, even if the games weren't pretty.

Agreed. Can you imagine how good we could be when Johnny and Money get going.

Once we're running on all cylinders this would be us:

He's been good on the PP getting lots of shots on net, and adequate overall. I'll take this Wideman and run, given what it looked like we were getting before this.

Is there a full GIF of this? Dougie was confused as to what Stajan was doing, then he says "Ohhhh Haha" at the end.
