He is actually s fair bit like a centre-playing version of Taylor Hall.

Seems to be a common problem for players who are simply way above the skill of their peers as they develop. No one can play at their speed (mentally and physically) so they just do it their own.
And then when they get to the NHL level, they don't know how to make their teammates better - which really is the mark of a truly elite player.
I'm sure McDavid will figure out. But Hall sure as hell never did.
