This week will be a sleeper - guaranteed either James or Natalie going home and zero chance of a backdoor. Paul (great social game) and Victor (competition beast) looking solid right now. If I was Corey/Nicole I wouldn't want to face them in the final 4.

Anyone know if the fall version of BB is only online or if CBS will carry it as well?

Only online. Have to sign up for CBS All Access. Not sure if that is available to us in Canada or not.

Got to admit that I was barely paying attention, but did she not just tell him the other day that she's dated all sorts of guys, including the ugly ones? I didn't really hear it, but it sounded quite similar to "I've got gay/black friends". Just sounded really patronizing. I really doubt James ever gets another kiss after the game is over.

As for the Natalie stuff, there has been a lot of speculation all season that she's using James. It also seems pretty obvious that she is only on the show to get her 15 minutes of fame. She knows nothing about BB and has all but admitted she's only on the show for fame. As such, it is really no surprise that she latched on to the guy who was AFP and is probably gonna win it again. CBS has been more than happy to play up the showmance angle.

Here is a post from a BB forum about a recent convo, Sunday I think, between her and James:

On the TV show, they made it seem like it lasted forever and even edited Paul's audio that he said at the beginning, like as soon as Corey came out, to appear like he said it at the end.

Well they do generally pick fame ###### but most players usually know quite a bit about BB. They aren't all total BB nerds like Meech or Steve, but more often than not the majority of the house are at least fans.

Picking people who want fame is good in a way. It makes it easier for production to get them to play ball and help generate drama for viewers.

We've seen what happens when people don't care about fame or their image. They sleep 14 hours a day and do NOTHING and it makes for a super boring show.

I just don't recall anyone joining the show with seemingly no will to win and have only joined with the intention of leeching on to a popular player for the purpose of showmance and post show fame. Allegedly. I could be wrong about Natalie. If she's faking liking James, she's pretty good at it most of the time.

Is she honestly really using him? She's made it pretty clear (even through the TV edit) that he is firmly in the friend zone. She also tried to latch herself to Cory, Paulie, and Victor before settling on James. She was looking for a strong male to protect her and flirt with and James just happens to be looking for more even though she has made it clear that there will be nothing outside the BB house.

James' goals in the house for two years has been:

1. Find love with a girl whose out of his league
2. Win AFP
3. Pranks

He's just not in it for the win so now that we are this far into the game, where you need to be thinking how to go from seven to final four to final two and who your going to take, he's spending this critical time in the house scrambling to salvage a shot at Natalie since he's failed to pester her into falling in love with him over the summer.

I'm on the fence as to whether he's being used and she's playing him or they are generally a real couple. On the one hand, he's kinda stupid if he hasn't caught on about her true feelings. On the other hand, I don't like the idea of a fairly nice guy having his heart broken, regardless of how gullible he is.

James clearly thinks they are a couple from what I've seen and read. Natalie has appeared to go back and forth but I'd still say she is more often than not treating the relationship as a showmance, not just friends.

Is James a "fairly nice guy"? From what I understand much of the BB17 cast soured on him after the show. I'm not really sure he's that gullible... he talks about wanting to win AFP constantly, casuals tend to love the showmances so I think it's as calculated as anything.

I've never been fond of James. He's a terrible player, his antics aren't that funny, and he's only an average performer in the DR.
