I could keep going, but I think you get the point. It is not unheard of to see a GM sacked after a short tenure. Do I think it is likely? Probably not. But if the Flames under-perform again and it is a result of what is perceived as poor management decisions Burke may have no choice. Professional sports is a fickle business and sometimes the fans blood lust can force the hand of a team. Remember how quickly we went from repeating "In Sutter We Trust" to thinking he had lost his mind?
