It's never the players on this board. Always someone else.
It's always a GM or coach or anything else.
Our players are soft. They suck

I have to admit, Patrik Laine sounds like a pretty solid pick if the Flames get 4th.

The league is fortunate they have the flames to keep the goals per game average up.

Oh, I agree with the luck part. I was just trying to point out that this year's team seems to have zero heart and it's very frustrating to watch.

Pretty sure any of:

Coaching can make a world of difference the Flames roster is not nearly as bad as the results on the ice.

That would explain the lack of a merit system so far this season. Probably going to see them bringing up some young guys as the season progresses.

I guess you've missed the following players getting called out several times:
Monahan
Hudler
Backlund
Bollig
Raymond
Stajan
Jooris
Ferland
Giordano
Hamilton
Russell
Wideman
Engelland
Ramo
Hiller
Ortio
Pretty much the whole team except Bennett, Gaudreau and Brodie have been bashed several times. The whole team sucks and the head coach is a joke.

Infusion of kids worked last year.
Lets see wotherspoon and kulak. Nakladal too.
If agostino is hot, give him some games.
Guys like Smid, Engellund, Bollig, Raymond, Stajan hve to be worth picks or something.
And even the productive guys like hudler, jones and russell should go b

I know it's hindsight but man I bet Treliving is wishing he traded Hudler and Wideman in the offseason when their value was high.

This would be content ranking on this site:
1A. Goalies
1B. Players
3rd. Coaches.
4th GM.

Watch this video and you`ll see why the heart of the Flames is missing:

This was the very moment the Flames became the tin man:

I think they tried damn hard to move Wideman.

On the bright side, Granlund`s been noticable tonight.
Good luck attracting future free agents if you're going to trade them 25 games into their first season...

The other thing that people forget with selling off veterans is that few teams have cap space right now. The closer you take it to the deadline, the more teams potentially are in the market.

Why does it seem like Engelland is the only one that gives a crap out there? This team seems happy with losing. That's the biggest problem. There is no fight there anymore.
