That Westbrook line has to be one of the best point guard lines ever. That would rival even Magic Johnson's heyday, and Magic has 6 inches and 40 pounds on him.

DeMarcus Cousins is the biggest joke and clown in the NBA. Comes down to the Bulls bench after the game to confront Bulls assistant coach Randy Brown.

He plays like a mad man! Just read Zach Lowe's article about the Thunder the other day, crazy thing is that they're pretty much a guy like DeMarre Carroll away from contending. Really hurts that team in the longterm because they signed Enes Kanter last summer.

He's one of the best talents in the league. It's unfortunate for all basketball fans that he got drafted into Sacramento. I'm sure under another teams leadership he would be one of the most dominant players of today's game, as well as revive a post position for future generations.

Crazy thing is Magic never even put up a line this good. Bird did, however.

So the Spurs are up more points (36) than the Mavs have at halftime (26). Also for as good as the Raptors have been, the Celtics are only 5 games back. How nice would it be if Brad Stevens was the Raps coach?

I think 5 games is a big difference, but I didn't expect Boston to pull off a 4 seed this deep into the year.

Gotta credit Danny Ainge for Boston's turnaround. He knew that he was dealing with a trigger happy win-now owner and he ruined the Net's for the next decade or so. Then he trades away Doc for a first round pick and hires an even better coach IMO. Then he trades a late-first round pick for Isaiah Thomas, an All-Star this year. The guy is a wizard.

Knicks have fired Fisher. Maybe a little surprising: seems they're pretty match where external pre-season expectations had them. Fisher getting into a little spat with Rondo probably doesn't help. Can't have a coach turning potential free agents away.

Rambis will coach interim, Walton has to be considered the favorite for next year, but Thibs is said to also be very interested.

Yep he is inconsistent. That was why the furor over the contract. Plus his sad performance in the playoffs. Be nice IF he actually performed when it counts. Not unlike the rest of them. They have had regular season success before and then poof.

Though I think they are better prepared this year with the emphasis on defense but until they prove themselves they are Chokers!

In a lot of other years Lowry would be a top 3 MVP candidate. Instead he might not even make the top 5. Raps have had terrific luck with DeRozan and Lowry both massively overplaying their contracts in the last couple years. Two of the best values in basketball.

And there goes the Bulls season... Jimmy Butler expected to miss 3-4 weeks with a knee strain.

Ugly game today....outplayed and out-hustled by the T-wolves.

It certainly wasn't a great effort, but forget Wiggins, how good is Karl-Anthony Towns gonna be? Scary, scary potential on that young man.

Yeah, I really like the assets that the T-Wolves have (plus probably another top-5 pick this year). I'd love to see them take that next step, but it's not easy in a conference where guys like Cousins and Davis can seem absolutely dominant and yet can't get their teams to that next level.
On the one hand, Minnesota is set up great, in that they have a solid core who are all around the same age. On the other hand, that means all those guys are going to hit free agency over a very narrow window, and you'd better be able to convince those guys they can win championships before then or it'll be tough to keep them all together.

The Magic Mascot is the MVP. That might be the best ever dunk.

Shaq being a dick is why Gordon doesn't have all 50's, and all on the first try. He has to be the winner if they can't be separated.
