hope the board tosses any suspensions aside and lets them play, given the incompetence shown by the refs to handle the entire situation. just give us some refs that can do their job and crack down next time if anything happens.

Just back from the game and haven't read any comments yet.
Here's my quick first few comments:
The first was a freaking gong show. Worst I've seen in awhile. Our team was give away central especially stajan. Engelland looked pathetic on the goal.
2nd goal seemed like the puck was sitting there forever. Just freakin clear it.
3 shots was pathetic. Kudos to vancouver fans I guess because they were dang loud. Their guys fed off it and our guys were running around like chickens with their heads cut off.
2nd was slightly better. Was hoping we would start turning it around like we usually do but not meant to be. At least I got to see one goal and Johnny and Monny get off the shnide.
Was glad to see the emotion at the end from Stajan and Engelland. Wtf was going on though? At one point Derek was fighting TWO guys at the same time? Never seen that before. Where were the refs to take at least one of the guys away?
Pretty disappointing game. Brodie had his worst game in awhile. But I'm still pumped that next games crowd is going to be freakin awesome the other way around.
Ps I hate potter. Get Wotherspoon in already.

What a farce. The Canucks are pure scum. Ferland gets a penalty for hitting too hard. I hope the Flames F them up at the dome.

What the hell does that mean? Threat?

I think it means he wants Raymond to draw in as a result of Ferland being suspended.

it is final in terms that the series supervisor has signed off on it.
NHL can still overturn it though.

I am so ####ing livid right now. What a bunch of ####ing losers. Refs were an absolute joke and CBC wants so bad for the flames to lose. The league is going to absolutely nothing about the canucks and will suspend Englland. Flames need to rally around this. #### the canucks.

No, I don't think you understand. It's just for the opening puck drop and earned four game misconducts.

Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie
Engelland's three game misconducts, I am told, are in different categories, so they don't cumulatively result in automatic suspension(s)...
Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie
That said, Engelland could still be suspended as a result of the instigator penalty in the final five minutes. NHL apparently has 3 options:

unless nhl player safety overturns it, looks like Engelland will miss at least 1 game. could be up to 3.
