So much whining in here... Calm down, playing from behind is where this team eats. Play had shifted by the end of the period. The Canucks will take their foot off the gas and the same result will occur, probably in overtime.

I would be very keen on seeing one of Hudler/Gaudreau on a line with Bennett.

Hudler and Monahan both don't look right to me. I go back to those shots Hudler took against LA - wonder if he's nursing something.

Disagree. That line looked pretty damn good in the 2nd half of game 1.

I've noticed Monahan a bit more, but not in the good way. He has had his share of boneheaded plays this game

What was Friedman talking about clearing the crease? There were huge shards of plastic all over the place

Have a feeling the Flames come out flying to start the second. Canucks get mixed up on a line change or two and we take advantage.

NHL players score from those spots when they are unchecked

Biggest concern for me right now is Faceoffs. abysmal all around. could be a product of experience vs. first timer nerves. Whatever the hell it is. they need to be better.

I sure hope someone has the gonads to call out Stajan in the room over those damn blind backhand passes. If you have nothing else to do with the puck in that spot, backhand it at the net and hope there is a rebound.

Bennett loved to get under the skin of players when he played in Kingston so as he gets more comfortable you will see more of that -/ he certainly didn't show respect to his elders there !

Passing has been way off. All rushes in to their zone have ended up going in to blind alleys. The first period in game 1 was our worst period so hopefully we pick it up in the 2nd. Even if we reduce the deficit to half we'd have a chance at 2-1 down going in to the 3rd.
