The reason most of us dislike the Divers is as much their fans as their play. Ever been to a Flames-Divers game in the 'dome? The behavior of some (not all) is despicable. As I've said before they are the RoughRider fans of the NHL. Drunk, obnoxious and ruder than h*%$. Should be wild once this series starts. And you can't say our fans are just as bad because it's just not true. There's a reason Vancouver ranks as one is the worst fan bases in all of pro sports.

I love the unassuming way he goes about being a 30 goal scorer. Most underrated shooter in the NHL.

10-15 more points and not being a sophomore and that's lady byng type numbers right there. The sky is definitely the limit for Sean can't wait to see how he handles the playoffs!

So Dorsett gets injured and goes to room and the team doctor follows him. Not usually a good sign.

Que the Vancouver goalie controversy. If they start Lack in the playoffs because Miller looks shaky tonite - then if Lack has a shaky game - both goalies will be messed up. And the Vancouver team will lose confidence. Please let it be so.

Quick, lets run Lack in the opening minutes of Game 1.
Just kidding...
But I like our chances vs the Canucks goaltending, they're in a precarious position it seems.

Pretty sure Lack was starting even if Miller posted a 50 save shutout. Lack will do just fine in the playoffs. Not worried at all.

I wouldn't be wishing for Miller if I was a Flames fan. This is his first game after a long injury. Of course he's going to struggle a bit, just like Ortio this afternoon. Miller is still a very good goalie and is more than capable of stealing a game or two in the playoffs.

The Flames have a number of configurations upfront that they can go with against the Canucks. Will be interesting to see what Hartley decides to go with: speed, size, offensive potential...
Do the Flames play the Monahan line against the Sedins or do we designate a shutdown line for them? Wouldn't mind a line of Bouma-Stjaan-Colborne tasked with making the Sedin's lives hell. Obviously being on the road makes those desired matchups tricky.

Bouma's gone for a while and Colborne would be much better against secondary guys like Matthias.
I'd rather have Backlund and Ferland out against the Sedins. Those guys shut down the King's top line, including Doughty, like it was nobodies business. Ferland made Doughty's life hell during that last game.

Expect to hear an official announcement on the series schedule. Blake Price on 1040 was mentioning this in both intermissions.

Would give the Canucks the edge for goaltending. I think defense and forwards are a wash. Heart for the Flames for sure. Should be a good series.

Would only be fair considering Bouma is out. Two guys who actually play similar roles for their teams.

I'd love it if he did.

Wouldn't be surprised if Benning forced a Miller start for game 2 if the Flames take the opener.
This is the same GM who just re-signed a bottom pairing dman for $3.6M a year because he traded for the guy and couldn't admit his mistake.

Just announced: Game one Wednesday at 8:00pm MT (7:00 PT) on CBC!
Not surprising given the arena schedule. The full schedule for all series will be announced tomorrow afternoon (2:30pm MT on Sportsnet).
