His chatter at the dome today has essentially waived his own NMC, I think he's made staying pretty unlikely and difficult.
A lot of quoted stuff out there to swallow pride and play the string out now.
Had a look at ice time:
Up to Dec 6th he was essentially a 19 minute a night player. Since then roughly 14 minutes a night.
Bouma on Dec 6th was an 11 minute player, now he's averaged closer to 15, and as high as 17-18 this week.

He has 240 points in 7 injury plagued seasons. I honestly don't know what more you guys want from a player who has never made more than 2.55 million/year with the Flames. I wish him nothing but good luck wherever he ends up ( and we know it won't be Edmonton )

That would be hilarious. Not just in the event that for some reason he agreed to go there, but that they would in return give us assets in exchange for someone whom we stole from them for free.
It would be doubly hilarious if he were then to leave them again as a UFA and sign back here.
I would laugh myself into a hernia.

don't under-estimate nashville's desire to rid themselves of the actual salary stahlberg is still owed 2.5M this year (pro-rated obviously) and 3.5 each for the next 2 years. that's a lot of dough for a crappy little franchise like the preds.

Glencross might be upset but Bouma is handing it to him in terms of competing for minutes.

Remember when Glencross was Bouma? A buzzsaw on the bottom lines, moving up by scoring goals and creating excitement?
Seemed to lose "it" at some point.

Swallow pride? Dammit Glencross, just shut up. You want something better/different, okay fine, but hes been a whipping boy for the last few months and thats no one's fault but his.
He wants more ice time, but he hasnt been earning it and Bouma has. Its part of the nature of team sports.
Now he really should be swallowing some pride and keeping silent. Throwing people under the bus by complaining of not being ice time you didnt earn? See where I'm going with this?

Agree, but that's from our perspective only. Next question should be: which teams would be willing to pay a 2nd pick for Glencross to help their playoff chances? I don't see many that would.

And I do not see Bouma ever losing that edge.
Bouma is a gamer.

Not sure if this was posted yet...
It took me a minute to understand what Roger meant by "it was one." So Glencross' initial list was just one team, now it's up to 5-7 teams. Good sign if you're Treliving.

I don't think he played the same way after concussing Drury and getting suspended for the hit.

Tampa, Montreal, Islanders... can't see a late 2nd rounder being much of a sacrifice for the top teams.

If his wife is due in April, he might not want to go all the way to the Eastern Conference. Even Nashville might be too far away.
His list might just be the California teams, Chicago, Winnipeg, and Vancouver. Maybe Minnesota too.
My money's on him ending up a Duck. He might even just walk across the hallway tomorrow.

Do you sit Glencross tomorrow? Try and get a deal done before the 7 game road trip?

Glencross wants to go to Anaheim, that's been the rumour for a couple of weeks (months?).
Now it looks like he'll entertain a trade somewhere else, but I bet he still ends up in Anaheim.

15 teams asking about him - making the Flames ask Curtis for a list of teams, probably means that the proposed returns from other teams are likely pretty good. I suspect that the return might be 1st rounder plus.
Glencross is the kind of piece that teams trying to get a little bit better fight over themselves to try and acquire. All we need is one team to make a crazy offer, and that could very easily happen if so many teams are interested.
