Sad thing is about tonight, I think we've done ok. Not had many decent chances on Anderson, but we've kept the Ducks relatively quiet, showed a lot of energy and commitment. Just coming up quite a bit short. Lacking the quality upfront to stick a puck away and not quite there with the goaltending and defence to keep them out. Hey ho.

Lets hope they take their foot off the gas yet again and we can get a couple of goals back in the 3rd. Can't see it, but if we can get one, we'll hopefully see a big boost off the back of it. We need a scruffy one in off someones ar se.

Special effort there though by Engallend and Hiller, don't think they'll be coming back in this one.
Hillers making a bad habit of it.

Should be noted majority of his bad goals are in that v-h position on the post.

We have face punchers though. What we need are power forwards.

Yeah I was thinking Engelland was having a decent game, pretty solid. And then that crap happens. No excuse for an NHLer to allow him out front like that from the corner when he has him pinned. Just ugly from a defenseman standpoint.

Hiller did nothing to help him of course.

Terrible goal to let in by Hiller.

Flames cannot use their speed tonight because of the ice and the way Anaheim is slowing them down. Hardly seen the breakaway passes tonight.

so you just let a guy skate from the corner to the front of the net with the puck

and I also said it was a bad goal, can be both

Tough to make a breakaway pass when the ducks forecheckers are all over Calgary's defense.

Yup. And should have used the paddle to not let him bring the puck to the front of the net

They can lose. That's fine. But lose gracefully, and with dignity.

Not while giving up pitiful, weak back breakers at the last second. I hate hate hate that.

The curse looks more and more likely to continue. Never got it going and being down 3 on the road is so different than being down 2 at home.

Better have a better effort tomorrow against the Sharks. Terrible goal against by Palmeri.

Its cool for Russell to kick it in his own net though.

Like I said, overrated by many.

Fair enough, but in the past three or four starts, he's given up that EXACT same bad goal. It's harmful enough that, at the very least, Ramo should start the third.
