Camera was on Boyle who started talking. Then it showed the flames bench and Brodie and Bollig talking towards the Tampa bench.

Flames a lot better tonight than they were in Washington. What Monahan is doing at his age, on the road, playing the toughest minutes of any forward on the team, is pretty damn impressive.

And during intermission I flip to see the oil winning 2-1 with 10 left in the third... Grab a drink and its 3-2 Boston!
Big third for the flames - Sven ties it Monahan wins it
Edit: just wait another minute... 4-2 Boston

Thinking it was because Boyle grabbing on to Monahan. Bollig the last shift was just hitting and giving little pokes since Boyle was pulling that stunt.
Not surprised its Brodie and Bollig at it . Last time someone took a run at someone on the Flames ( It was Brodie) Brodie called Bollig off.

The Flames are one of the best third period teams in the NHL right now - so get ready!

4-2 on back-to-back PP goals.

Tampa's playing Calgary very well tonight. Picking off a lot of passes that work against other teams. Credit to the Lightning, they've prepped well to play the Flames tonight.

Has Stamkos been absolutely invisible to anyone else? Either the Flame who is checking him (Jooris?) is doing a great job or he is just not himself today.
Either way the Flames are doing a hell of a job of keeping the puck away from him.

I know I'll get a lot of flack for this, but I feel so bad for fans of that pathetic team. They keep looking like they're turning a corner only to poop the bed

f dat ... just remember how completely overbearing they were with their "future future future, not if a Cup but how many" BS and you'll feel a lot better about their suffering.
They're quiet now, but they were the worst after their three first overalls ... and pretty much every offseason.

He has been invisible, so far. My dad just asked if he was even playing, I was surprised he has over 11 minutes played.

Not Jooris checking Stamkos, Monahan. Money has been a premiere player tonight on both sides of the puck. He's only 20.
We are so very lucky to have him.

Wow, only 11 minutes? Coach must not be impressed with him tonight.

That said, I'm still seeing him play better and skate better tonight. I just hope he works on that some more.

Sums up how I feel nicely
It might because he's with those two guys(Byron especially) but he looks like he completely gives up whenever there is contact. It's really frustrating to see.
Loubo ripped Sven a new a-hole on the fan pregame about dealing with adversity, and how he needs to step it up if he wants a future here. I agree with him and it's very discouraging to watch his performance tonight

I wonder if he is still hesitant after his concussion, or rib injury. He seems like he doesn't want to get hit. Not sure what it is.
