The hammer cannot fall before 10 tonight, so we have a bit of time to get a strategy.

I would be fine voting for someone who didn't vote Drake.

Plus, if he or anyone else turns out to be management, when they voted can be a good tell (pretty much the only reason I'm suspicious of someone like Timbo, he originally voted for a player, but then switched his vote to Drake when the writing was on the wall).

On top of that, you can also look at people who didn't vote for management when we get one of them out. All of these little things will help narrow stuff down.

HalifaxDrunk and Regulator voted the same as Drake, CC and Sliver voted the same, and stazzy33 and Lego Man voted the same. Aeneas and Huntingwhale did their own thing.

I would think management would kind of want to group their votes together, so that makes me suspicious of HalifaxDrunk, Regulator75, CC, Sliver, stazzy33 and Lego Man.

Sorry I haven't been posting much, I was busy up in Edmonton this weekend...

Do we know what the split between players and NHL are?

I am Semin if that helps us figure things out and am a player.

Also, Strombad was pretty quick to suggest Drake, could it be he is a part of the NHL and they were willing to throw him under the bus to throw us off the trail?

CC, isn't an idiot. It seems to me that if I was going to make myself look like a player I would post my name in blue to make it look like I cut and pasted it.......

That'd be a bold move, but I don't see why it would make sense. I threw a vote on Drake even when people were voting Blaster (who by working with flameswin is a player, since Masons appear to be always on the same team). Switched to GP when it was clear Drake wasn't gaining traction, and just went back to my original vote when given a choice between 3 people. If Drake wasn't getting traction, why wouldn't i swap my vote to a player that looked to be on their way home?

Sacrificing one of your own when there is no danger to yourselves would be idiotic.

If I'm suspected of being management because I voted for Drake early, why not Wood? Or Hockeyguy? Or DSA? Or dissentowner? Are we all management? If anything, it sounds more like a management tactic to turn players against those who got out management. Food for thought at least.

Valid points being brought about CC. Flameswin was a player, so do we trust his gut? Personally, I'm comfortable with any of Regulator, Timbo, or CC (or this stazzy fellow). Could be wrong on all four, but something is off across the board. I'll keep my vote as is for now.

But why would management assume/know that Mazrim PM'ed our names in blue?

It seems like a coin toss at this point, either CC just copy pasted without thinking or he is trying to pull a fast one.

Could be because when Mazrim posted who died, the management name was shown in red and the player names were shown in blue.

Is it just me or do the rest of us all have higher profile players and CC comes out with Scheifele, seems kind of a weird choice or maybe that was given to him on purpose to throw a wrench in the works. This is harder than I thought it would be.

He's a member of the official NHLPA negotiating committee, and he was one of the more vocal players during the last lockout as far as I can remember, so in this sense, yeah, I think so.
