Yep, I love the way he plays. Doesn't get a lot of press because of where he plays, but obviously deserved to play on this team. Can play in pretty much any situation and look good doing so. Solid, solid player.

Yeah, but you really would have to be living under a rock to not know that's banned. Should've known better.

By far the best iteration of a National team canada has ever seen...and i dont think its arguable.

There have been way more satisfying victories in other tourneys, but this is the best....ever.

Huge kudos to Yzerman and all the management to Babcock and his crew and especially the players for buying in and sticking to it from ,day 1.

The problem is that the players are used to taking this.

Tournament was just too easy for this edition of Canada. Too strong defensively and extremely well coached. Deserving of the gold, but didn't make for the most exciting tournament IMO. Hopefully the rest of the world actually brings it next time.

And to think some of you cowboys questioned Yzerman and his team.

Heh that breakaway was the last goal Canada gave up.

Was just thinking the same thing, fun seeing Canada win and all, but sadly it was a hohum tournament. I know some people love this type of hockey, but I still don't think it comes close to the atmosphere of playoff hockey.

We just have to hope Calgary gets back in the dance sooner rather than later.

With victory nearly assured do NHL rivalries start factoring into the equation? Bergeron start wacking Crosby in the head repeatedly on the bench, Doughty firing slappers into the ankles of Getzlaf and Perry.

Hey Forsberg, even if the game was reffed by Swedes couldn't even have saved this team.

All credit goes to Kevin Lowe. He knows a thing or two about winning, after all
