Pure assumption on my part, but I think he probably tweaked something here. Sure hope is ready to go for the playoffs. This is about as good a chance a guy could hope for for a cup.

Jagr and Selanne say hello. Not to mention guys like Recchi, Whitney, Larionov, etc. As long as you are reasonably fit and have a mind for the game you can still be an effective player late into late 30's and early 40's

Highly depends on the game you play. Most humans (this therefore does not include Selanne) slow down with age. If your game is slowing the play down then sure. It is a score off the rush player, so I don't see more than a couple more productive years IMO
