Shocked that we haven't had one game go beyond the first overtime period with all the games that have gone to OT (probably around 40%). Let's hope that's where the Ducks/Wings game goes tonight.

Sutter looks as though his aging has reversed since he left Calgary.

Blues lose = best chance of Flames drafting higher.

Pretty black and white if you're a Flames fan.
Especially with how the playoffs could shape up. A Hawks-Kings-Sharks-Wings automatically move the Blues' pick up a slot as at least 1 of the teams under them have to make the Conference Finals.

If that's how the West turns out and if by chance in the East the Bruins-Rangers-Senators-Islanders are the teams to make it through that Blues pick can be no worse than 21st overall.

I'm happy with tonight's outcome.

Great playoffs so far.

Canucks get swept.
Leafs and Habs down 3-1.
Blues down 3-2. (Yay draft pick)
Isles pushing Pens harder than I thought they would or could. (Sorry Iggy)
Other division leaders Anaheim and Washington have a chance to lose as well.

Hopefully we get a final four with no division winners, or the Blues in it.

I guess I'm not the only one who noticed that.

He looks a hundred years younger now. So happy for him.

Yup - one more year in LA and he'll show up on the bench with a nice set of D-cups!

OT was wayyyyy too short for my liking, but the outcome was good. Hopefully the Ducks/Wings put in a marathon game tonight.

What the hell is with this emphasis on long OT's? The marathon OT's are usually two tired teams skating around at half-speed, and then it finally goes off someones ass.

Give me a short OT where both teams are going all out and it ends in the first 10 minutes.

Some of the most memorable playoffs game in my life have been extended OTs.........even if it's a bad bounce it's still great to watch IMO.

To each their own, but I absolutely love them.

I 90 percent agree with you, but there is something special about a really long overtime game. Don't get me wrong, if every game went to a third or fourth overtime, that would be dreadful, but once in awhile, it can be a lot of fun.

I'm pro multiple overtimes but only if I don't really care who wins. Watching tired hockey players giving everything they have left, making plays when they start to look like they can barely skate, goalies forced to make saves with way less help, it's entertaining.
