I didn't follow the game here. But I will give a few thoughts.
1. Rays are a good team and one that I like. I don't mind losing to a team that's as good as mine or better. I have no hate for the Rays (would love to see them in Montreal).
2. The Rangers got a lucky call on Martin's trap.
3. Perez shouldn't have started with Garza ready to go.
4. Rangers base running was odd, might have been Price's movements on the mound. Kinsler's pick off I thought should have been a balk, Price started his movement, rocked back then threw to first. He'd step off then pitch all game long. Maybe he always does that but I didn't think that was allowed.
5. David Price's strike zone was as big as the Atlantic Ocean. The Rangers had a larger than normal strike zone but it wasn't as huge as Price's. Give a pitcher like Price a zone that huge, it doesn't matter how good your team is, they aren't winning (this also goes back to Perez over Garza).
6. Longoria was a monster. Period.
7. The steal in the 9th with the throwing error by Scheppers. The team wasn't ready for that, they weren't playing for that. I blame the Manager.
8. What do Ron Washintgon, Grady Little and Bobby Cox have in common? Great managers that can't win when it's all on the line. I wanted Francona last year when he was fired from Boston. Cleveland is in the playoffs, Rangers are on vacation.
Good luck to the Rays, here's to a move back north after Dou(heard Seilg retires in 2015.
Now let's see how the Flames disappoint me this year!

I truly hope the Rays get their hearts broken at some point during this post season.

Questionable call on pitching for sure. Could you imagine Garza vs Price? Mentor vs Student! The story lines would have been incredible. Cleveland is also throwing a rookie pitcher on the mound against the Rays. I wonder if the same fate will happen.

I hope it is because they have run out of champagne to spray on each other after winning the world series.

I would have gone with Garza and if the Rangers win Holland against Celeveland.
Give Perez some time off and use him as the 4th man in the rotation (after Darvish due to the rotation as clearly Darvish should start game 1 of the ALDS if to hey made it that far).

Question for all of you superstitious folks out there. I have been dressing the baby up for all the Rays games.
Sundays outfit Rays took early 7-0 lead. She then had an explosion and had to take outfit off for wash Jays almost come back. Rays won 7-6
Monday new outfit Rays win 5-1
Do I go with her third different Rays outfit since we are now in the post season or go back with Mondays outfit and keep the good mojo? Do I treat her wardrobe like post season pitchers and rotate them or ride which ever is providing the wins?

Whatever you do, don't do what I did.
The Rangers downward spiral this season, literally started when I got married.

It is just the beginning of everything in your life going into a downward spiral!!! I got married in August 2010 the beginning of your Ranger dominance over us Rays. Maybe having the baby this year has finally crushed that hex and brought good fortune?

The Playoffs last year were fantastic (maybe not the World Series, but the rest of it). Hoping for more of the same.

Note to self: have kids right away
In all seriousness, I think it would be perfect to see my team(s) win and then have kids. As much as I want to see a championship season, I also want my kids to enjoy it. Which means not until late teens at the earliest.

When the Braves announce their National League Division Series roster on Wednesday, there is a distinct possibility Dan Uggla will not be included.
Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez met with some players regarding roster decisions after the team held a workout that was closed to media members on Tuesday at Turner Field. An industry source said Uggla was informed that he will not be part of the 25-man roster the Braves will use during their best-of-five NLDS matchup against the Dodgers.
Before making anything official on Wednesday, the Braves will first evaluate the health of some of the players, including right-handed reliever Jordan Walden, who has been ineffective in three of the four appearances he has made since missing three weeks with a strained groin.
If Uggla is indeed left off the roster, the Braves could go with a 12-man pitching staff, which could provide some insurance in the event that Walden’s struggles continue.

Well one little guy has moved on! Pirates win with a dominate performance and a passionate crowd.
John Perrotto @jperrotto Only baseball crowd I've ever heard that matched loudness of PNC Park was Tropicana Field crowds in 2008 but that was in a dome. #Pirates

Cardinals get top seed in NL, but have to play the better team.

Pretty significant advantage playing the team that has burnt a starting pitcher already though.
