I don't. I was just trolling you (LFC 9th), but after your very reasonable reply, I feel bad.
I agree EXACTLY with your top 6. I think Everton will be 7th.

Right now, Spurs are a better team on paper than Arsenal. That being said...we're Spurs.

do people not remember Chelsea last year?

they still have bad goalie, weak back 4, and no actual central midfielders

Haha, I've gotten way too used to people giving me the gears about my team. I hardly react anymore (which is sad).

I just think that they have improved their team a little bit while Arsenal and Spurs haven't improved and may even be worse off.

that's all dependent on transfer though

i.e I don't see any of the London group jumping up to Man Utd but they could move ahead of the other 2 before the end of August

They're also banking pretty hard on Torres being able to carry the offense. I'm sure he'll have a better year, but they need him to step up.

What are you on about?
Petr Cech is a bad goalie? Only a few years back, had one of the greatest goalkeeping seasons in the EPL EVER.
Weak back 4? Cole,Terry, Cahill and Ivanonic are hardly weak.

Central midfielder - I assume they're banking on Hazzard. That's the riskiest part of the 11. Has Mata ever played in a central role?

As long as he brings in a true defensive mid, I think we'll be golden. The Sahin talk is interesting, he doesn't appear to fit the bill and that makes one wonder what's Arsene's plan. He'd be willing to spend the money but would be spending it on a different type of player.

Does anyone remember Tottenham last year?

Their goalie is a fossil. One notable defender. Their midfield is a mess.

A midfield of Sandro, Huddlestone, Bale, Lennon, and Parker is a mess?

I know you are just trolling but out of interest out of Walker, Vertognen, Dawson and BAE who is the one notable defender?

None of them.

Gallas is notable

Cech was great, key word was. He hasn't been for 3 years

when I say weak I say it comparatively, that back 4 you just mentioned isn't as good as

Evra/Vidic/Evans/Valencia
Kolarov/Kompany/Lescott/Richards
BAE/Vertonghen/Kaboul/Walker
Gibbs/Verm/Koscielny/Sagna
Enrique/Agger/Skrtel/Johnson

weaker than the 5 teams they are likely competing with, definitely. Better than Southampton/Wigan etc.? sure

Hazard nor Mata are CM's

they are going to play a 4-2-3-1

the 3 of any of Mata/Hazard/Marin/Sturridge should be very strong, the 1 of Torres is debatable

but the 4 and 2 are average outside Cole and Ramires

Ramires too isn't even suited for a role in front of the back 4 but he is by far the best option they have

Lampard is past it, Mikel never had it, and Essien has sadly has his career effectively ruined by injuries

forgot about Oscar but he's a number 10 as well, so included in the group behind the striker

well Meireles isn't that bad.

Oh, and forget about Marin - he simply isn't good enough. Actually pretty shocked that Chelsea forked out that amount of money for him. He was promising a few years ago, but his development just stalled. He basically lost his spot in Bremen last season.

Meireles is good, but apparently hes doing to Chelsea what he did to Liverpool, as soon as they sign some midfielders he wants out.

Di Matteo is also keeping his cards close to his chest when it comes to Meireles, with the latest reports suggesting the Portuguese midfielder is a target for Tottenham.

He said: "He's with us. He's going to be with us at the weekend."
