The HD always sucks. Compare it to a tsn hockey broadcast and it really shows how bad it is. I wonder if it has anything to do with there either good or crap cameras in particular arenas?
I watch NHL.tv from Brazil and don´t notice what everyone is talking about. No doubt the production quality leaves something to be desired when you compare to TSN, but I don´t have the same issues people in this thread say
did anyone else notice the sound was synced bang on last night against the sharks? hooray!!
maybe someone for sportsnet got wind of this thread??
Not for me watching on NHL.tv in the US. It was the Sports net feed and I distinctly remember Ball announcing the save on a breakaway or penalty shot a split second before I saw it.

The NHL.tv SN feed was horrible last night. Even with my Shaw 150, it kept cutting in and out, froze a couple times and kept reverting back and forth to a low quality stream all game. Didn't really notice the sound as I was too angry about the image
Yeah, it was off on Shaw as well. Not far off - maybe a second - but it's there. I knew that breakaway with five seconds left was a save before he shot the puck.
It was improved but still off. Early on I had a hard time determining if it was improved or still off. Finally there was a play where he said Backlund loses the puck and I thought "No, he's got it... oh, there it went". Then I knew it was still a bit off.
