You figured Rogers would be embarrassed to put out a product like this, but they clearly lack dignity in broadcast quality.

What GMG is that neither Sportsnet, or their mouthpiece Roger Millions, won't even acknowledge the issued in this thread.

This shows a total disregard to the fans in this market.

The HD always sucks. Compare it to a tsn hockey broadcast and it really shows how bad it is. I wonder if it has anything to do with there either good or crap cameras in particular arenas?

They are preparing to release their 4K channel I bet. Make HD so bad they'll force us to buy their premium channel.

I don't see why else they'd purposely make their HD so bad.

I watch NHL.tv from Brazil and don´t notice what everyone is talking about. No doubt the production quality leaves something to be desired when you compare to TSN, but I don´t have the same issues people in this thread say

Not for me watching on NHL.tv in the US. It was the Sports net feed and I distinctly remember Ball announcing the save on a breakaway or penalty shot a split second before I saw it.

The NHL.tv SN feed was horrible last night. Even with my Shaw 150, it kept cutting in and out, froze a couple times and kept reverting back and forth to a low quality stream all game. Didn't really notice the sound as I was too angry about the image

The in game sound seemed to be bang on (pucks hitting sticks and whatnot), but the commentary is still ahead of the play.

Mind bottling they still haven't fixed this.

Watched on Bell TV last night. If it was off it wasn't noticeable, and it certainly has been in the (recent) past.

Was on Telus, SNET 1. There was a noticeable delay last night.

Yeah, it was off on Shaw as well. Not far off - maybe a second - but it's there. I knew that breakaway with five seconds left was a save before he shot the puck.

I don't get how it's fine on Bell but not on Shaw or Telus. Like toonage, I just haven't noticed a problem.

It was improved but still off. Early on I had a hard time determining if it was improved or still off. Finally there was a play where he said Backlund loses the puck and I thought "No, he's got it... oh, there it went". Then I knew it was still a bit off.
