What an absolute crazy ending. Felt a little slow compared to last episode, but dear jeebus what an ending. Totally had to double check imdb to make sure that wasn't the season finale since it was such a cliffhanger, thank god at least some questions will be answered next ep.
I thought that the final 2 episodes of last year were two of the best hours of tv since the wire went off the air, expecting the final 2 this year to be just as good
I don't know if any of you hung around for the credits but they even made the theme music sound wacky as the credits rolled.
Spoiler!
Walt is going to have to get help from Jessie. If it was the series finale next week I would guess that he would go witness protection but with a whole season to come you gotta think that Gus has to die?
That was creepy listening to Walt laugh hysterically as Marie walked down the hallway.

That was crazy. What can Walt do now but confess to Hank? He has no money, and no more income.
I see Hank breaking bad though to keep the show going. Hank would certainly be seduced by the.money, and if Gus is gone, and the Mexican cartel no longer a threat they could as a group (Walt, Skyler, Hank, Jesse, and Mike) take control. Walt isn't smart enough, but Hank presumably knows everything about how cartels are run. He is really the missing ingredient that they need.
Or else somewhere along the line, Walt agrees to testify and enters witness relocation aka Goodfellas.
Walt's weakness/arrogance/poor decision-making are seemingly out of character compared to his earlier behavior in dealing with Tuco. Remember the sodium nitrate episode, and the walkaway afterwards? What about the Walt White that engineered the hit on Gale to a degree of sophistication, and improvisation that would make Machiavelli proud?
I want to see more of that Walt White. The earlier Walt was essentially a nihilist with nothing to lose, and would take greater risks with his intellect, and life. It certainly has something to do with the way Skyler got involved, and his new-found responsibility to placate her, but manage her involvement.
Really, Walt is alone again. He obviously perceives (probably inaccurately) that Skyler has reserved feelings for Ted, and has essentially betrayed him, thus dooming the entire family. I, too, think that we are going to see the return of Heisenberg, and maybe the final death of Walter White.
^^ the hit on Gale? That seemed hastened and not very well conceived. Granted the whole incident could be Gus's demise. I agree though, Walt is nothing like the genius he once was. He has become overly paranoid, maybe justifiable given the business he is in, and the fact that people are, and have tried to kill him in the past. I think his overthinking his role in the whole scheme of things is his problem. He is just the meth chemist, and everybody else can function within their own roles without delusions of grandeur or causing the desire in others to kill them.
For some reason I thought there was just one episode left this season, then one last season still to come. But I guess there are 2 more episodes this season. Has anyone heard when the fifth and final season is support to air? I hope it isn't a year away...
I'm not sure when the next season airs, but from what I've read, they are dividing up the last 16 episodes into two seasons. Not sure I like that. I hope it's not true.
Further to that, reading the article, I was also wondering two things that it mentioned. Does Jesse still have the cigarette and is Ted actually dead? I figured that cigarette has to come into play at some point.
I know for sure I can't wait til the next episode. Riveting stuff.

I think the cigarette will come into play with Gus.....
