I just turned on the Tennis to see the final score of the Raonic match. Damnit. I didn't set the PVR either. Double damnit.

Nice job Raonic!

And even better news - @TennisConnected: With the win, Raonic is guaranteed to move up to No. 28 in the world in next week's rankings. He'll likely be seeded at the French Open.

Milos vs Ferrer should be good - that's on at about 1 am for me if I did the math right, wonder if it will be on live anywhere or what program I should PVR to catch this match - appreciate it if anyone knows.

Raonic lost 6-1, 6-3

Some quotes from the Sportsnet website:
Quote:
"It was a good learning experience but conditions were a lot slower today," said Raonic. "He was really getting to everything.
"Anything I was throwing, he'd find a solution, if not on that point, the next one. He was playing really well. Even if I'm out, I'm happy with how it went this week.
Quote:
"I'm looking forward to Barcelona, I'll have a chance there to play some more matches and try to get some more wins. I've got to be happy with how it went here. He was just better than me today."

Raonic beat Stepanek, ranked 68th in the world and formerly number 8, solidly 6-4, 6-2 in barcelona.

Picked up 20 points and moves on to face an unseeded guy in the second round.

Looking pretty solid for his first 4 matches on clay.

Is a Tennis TV subscription the only way to see the ATP Barcelona matches? I know Sportnet picks them up in the latter rounds but it would be nice to see the early rounds too.

Soderling just got upset by 56th ranked Dodig, which is good new for Milos if he progresses.

Raonic wins the first set 6-3.

This is a revenge match. Gruel upset Roanic in Johanesburg after the Aussie Open. (2nd post of this thread )

This match is headed for a Tiebreak. Good thing Raonic has already won 9 of those this year.

ATP scoreboard died!

But Raonic won the tiebreak 7-5

This Gruel guy is tough for Raonic for some reason.

Roanic finally on court. It's 8pm in Barcelona. Not sure how late they can go.
Also don't think it'll be on tv anymore.
