They want a copy of my DL, passport, bank statment, utility bill & something else. It just seems like an awful lot of information for someone who has been transfering to other players that I'm playing with in the home games thing. You would think they would recognize that but it's probably an automated request or something.

I'm just not willing to fax or email that kinda information to some random organization even though they are pretty big, I'm not convinced they are all that lawful of a company and would protect my information.

Can't they track that. I tried doing it when I wanted to change my username/picture and within minutes the new account was shut down and the funds were transfered into my old PS account so they know what they are doing that way.

I've been in contact with a rep from PS and they basically have said they need all that info else I'm all out of luck.

I was thinking more along the lines of cashing out, close account, open new one.

I can't cash out my old account til I prove my ID. And I'm sure if they see the same name they will ask for the same info. Next time I'm at my mom's I'll ask her to use her name and just play home games with you guys and just stick to Fulltilt for regular play.

In my experience PS customer service/security has always been top notch.

My guess is HOOT was multi-accounting (ie. google zeejustin/jj prodigy multi accounting) the home games and PS security caught him.

I say he's guilty until proven innocent.

wow been out of town since Saturday and just caught up on this thread. I've been noticing crazy stuff lately coming from PS that was a pain in the ass. They have no problem taking money via echeck out of my account to deposit but as soon as I withdraw they cancel it, and that's after 2 weeks or longer! I finally just got a cheque mailed to me.

Sorry to hear all this bullsh*t going on HOOT but I know how it feels like I just talked about with my withdraws.

Looks like I'll have to start the scheduling with HOOT's new vigilante status on stars. That bounty tournament for $20 should be a good one, make sure you get in if you can play!
