he has started one game in the PL. Meanwhile, Loftus-Cheek is with the U21 again.

Australia and Syria finished the first leg of the AFC qualifier in a 1-1 draw after the Syrians were awarded a pathetic penalty to tie the game. I'd like to consider it incompetence but the ref being Iranian adds some conspiracy.
That said the Socceroos are still in a good position to stay alive with the 2nd leg at home.

As it stands Argentina will miss the World Cup. And thanks to Paraguay's shocking come from behind win at Colombia (with two goals in the last 3 minutes away), the final day of CONMEBOL is going to be insane. Colombia plays Peru in a likely elimination game, Argentina probably needs to win at Ecuador to even make a playoff, Chile goes to Brazil likely needing only a draw, Paraguay can still qualify as well with a win and some help. Should be fun.

Argentina really needed to win today. They probably get killed in Quito.

Winks should be starting by next summer if he stays fit
He's the only English cm who can protect and psss the ball
That's why I don't get the talk that the captaincy is between Kane and Henderson
If you look at the starting XI when fit most likely
Hart
Walker smalling Cahill rose
Dier Henderson
Sterling alli rashford
Kane
Henderson is the weakest link as an outfield player, most likely to be replaced if anyone halfway decent comes alongside or a youth player gets more experience

And you make that statement based on what? He's hardly kicked a ball against any at all let alone top competition.

Serbia losing is great news for Ireland, now Wales won't just park the bus Monday since all three countries can get the automatic bid. Also lol at Italy drawing against Macedonia. Alexander would be proud.

Iceland gets Kosovo in their final game with the group lead, so they're going to qualify automatically. Boom!!!

Who would have seen that coming? Out of that group that Iceland would win it.
Croatia, Turkey, Finland and Ukraine really dropped this ball, but full marks to Iceland.
Thats how International Tournaments work, get points when they're on offer.

This is always Italy's problem. The don't play hard in games that don't matter and it hurts their coefficient and puts them in tough groups.
unseeded in 2014 world cup draw, 2016 euro cup draw and 2018 world cup qualifying draw.

I'm so disappointed but honestly this crop of players are heartless for their nation. So good on club teams then manure with the blue and red on. #### them.

that was a nice win against Serbia yesterday. Too little too late obviously, but still nice.
Future's looking bleak though, Austria isn't only canning coach Koller but also sporting director Ruttensteiner. The progress of the last few years is crushed by the idiots in charge ... the nepotism within our FA is going to cost us long-time. Pretty sure Andreas Herzog is going to be our new coach because of ... reasons.

Its nice of Bosnia to hold this match on a pitch that appears to have hosted a tractor-pull last night.
