Wheeler, Schiefele, and Hellebuyck all will be UFA’s after next season. I think a couple of those guys will be moved before the deadline.
WhiteOut, what are your thoughts on the future? Go for another run next season or trade those guys and re-tool? Ehlers, Connor and Morrissey are all great players so the Jets can re-tool.

If I had my way we'd trade Helley, Connor, Ehlers. Build the team around Lowry and Morrissey as the new leadership group.
I can understand Bowness’ frustration, but also…your best players aren’t good enough. This roster is a bubble team, and bubble teams get slapped in round 1 more often than not.
…Flames fans have plenty of experience with that. I hope for Jets fans sake, they abandon this mediocre core and build something new.

Trading Connor would be a huge mistake, he's a guy who actually wants to be there. Series was a waste it 10 days. I think the Flames would have at least taken this to 6 games.

If you're rebuilding a team you can't just trade away depreciating assets, sometimes you have to trade away something good. Connor has shown that he just doesn't have what it takes to play well in the playoffs. He doesn't have the size and it seems like he doesn't have the heart. I will compare him to Johnny Gaudeau but a little bit bigger and not as productive in the regular season. Believe me, I like Kyle connor, and I hate the idea that we would have to trade him, but again, you can't just trade away #### and expect good returns.
Jets should fire Bowness. He destroyed the locker room.
If you don't think that locker room was already completely disfunctional you just haven't been paying attention. I can tell you right now that the overwhelming response from Jets fans has been unbridled praise for saying what everyone has been thinking, or online community has been saying for months

I know. I just making that comment in jest in relation to the fire Sutter crowd.
There are times where the problem is not the coach, it's the roster. Whether that's with fractions within the locker room, or the built team simply not good enough.
Be careful what you ask for. He's a good talent but he's glass. You can't count on him and I think that's something that will dog him for his entire career.

I would be weary of going scorched earth as with that goaltender they can always compete and why would you turf a star US player (Connor) that's okay with playing in Canada? I can guarantee they will be instantly better the moment they move on from Scheifele who is the reincarnation of Craig Janney. Addition by subtraction right there as that guy is one of the biggest cancers in the NHL.

Helley is going to want 10+million. He isn't worth that.
