It's pretty clear out right now. Got a good view from my deck.

I've been trying to practice taking pictures but I think the moon is just too far away for my camera.

Not true. Last one in 1638 which was 372 years ago.

Answered my own question. Wiki has a pic from the moon during a lunar eclipse and everything does appear red.

People at CTV calgary are a bunch of yahoos... they said it would start at 11:30 and be full by 11:45 calgary time.

should have just checked CP.

I went out to take a look and maybe get some pictures, it wasn't worth it, the clouds have rolled in and the moon is pretty much the size of a penny and muddy brown.

What a let down.

Nice and deep orange/red here in Toronto. Perfectly clear night. Slight shadow over it.
