The gameplay video is up but no one's posted it yet. Holy crap look at how much interaction and active changes there are in the environments. This looks to be amazing.

Really? It looks like the same on-rails action game as the previous two. It might be prettier, but the gameplay is probably just as inflexible.
Well, to be fair, with the exception of sandbox type RPGs almost every game with a linear storyline is going to be inflexible to some degree or another. As long as the graphics, storytelling and polish are top notch, it should make a very entertaining game.
There are obviously people who love this type of game, and I while I don't share that opinion, I respect it. Uncharted isn't my thing, but it's definitely pretty and full of action.

I can totally understand your point of view. To me, the Uncharted series is one of the few that really suck me in and get me into the experience, so I don't feel like it's totally on rails (see...well, rail shooters like Sin and Punishment for something that doesn't try to hide it) and I feel like the game is just smoothly incorporating the player into the experience.
Well, since the game came out today, I figured this thread could be bumped.
I've only played the first hour and it's already much better paced than the second game. No tedious guards to stealth around. Story is excellent so far and I've enjoyed the platforming. It's pretty much as you'd expect so far.

Dangit! I want to play this bloody game already but I haven't gotten my copy in the mail yet.
I just finished the Chateau (yeah I'm slow...playing other games too), and wow, what a scene. Pretty intense by the end.
Spoiler!
Kinda disappointed they kinda left the zombified looking dude just laying there with no explanation as they moved through the chateau. I was thinking "oh god the supernatural stuff is already starting" (I'm glad they keep that to a minimum) but apparently it's just a teaser for later? Guess I'll find out.
