The Isles look like they'll be close to making the playoffs, so trading a solid prospect like Schenn does help them towards that.

Do I think they could've got more, sure. However, but most teams that have expendable defensive players have already traded them or don't have enough cheese to do so.

I look at it from my point of view and I would have loved to have added Schenn. But did I have a good dman to give up at this point? Nope not at all.

Playable roster guys are a premium. Most teams have barely enough to fill out their rosters. So if you want to add a guy without deleting another roster player - you have to pay some sort of price.
