Well as cheap as possible... seeing if chartering a bus is worth it or not. Just keeping options open but we most likely will rent a van or drive our cars.

Yeah fair enough. I just assumed it would be more expensive than taking a few cars but I guess it can't hurt to look into.

Whitefish, Montana is quite a bit cheaper, and shares the same mountain range as Fernie.

Conditions won't be -as- good, but it can be as good as half price depending on the time of year.

I vote Castle, i was boyotting them last year because they got rid of their student pricing but this year it is back (albiet an 8 dollar discount (lame)) so 54 bucks/ticket is a good deal.

They had 127 Cm's over the past 7 days... thats a lot of snow. They typically get BIG dumps. Just watch their snowfall report on when to go.

They open next friday.
