I like the deal for both sides. I also had an offer out there. Mine was different than the rest though as it was a package of guys that are a little older, but solid NHLers + some prospects. I understand the route TO was going and think that Philly had more in line with what TO was looking for.
The key to this deal comes down to how Neuvirth continues to develop (jsut like Bernier in the Halak deal). If Neuvirth continues on his current pace he will rerate in the 80 range and be a solid number 1 going forward.
