When you say Yellow Horn got hurt, was that on that shot block when he limped off?

Seabrook had 3 points and was -3. The Hitmen scored 13 goals in the series, 4 of which were on the PP. So Seabrook was on the ice for at least 6 of the Hitmen's 9 regular strenght/short handed goals. IMO he was responsible for 2 of them in game 2 and one of them in game 5 due to coughing up the puck and not trying to cover up for his mistake. 3 goals that we aren't certain if he was on the ice or not. That is pretty sad for a guy who is supposed to be the best player on the team and one of the top defensemen. I honestly can't see him making the NHL as a defenseman, he may have to be converted to forward because his defensive play was p*ss poor. Remember at the Canada Cup when team Canada had 1 goal against in 3 or 4 games? IIRC, that one goal was a result of Seabrook coughing up the puck.

Are you serious?

seabrook will easily make the NHL and if there is a season I could certainly see him playing there next year. he didn't have a great play-offs but he had a great season and must have been one of the top ice time guys in the CHL. also he had no help on the D this year. the Lethbridge defense was full of average-below average guys.

Dead serious. I've watched him for 4 years now. His offensive play has improved, but he hasn't improved his defensive play at all. He continually makes horrible mistakes and is always giving away the puck. I'm not basing what I saw in the playoffs, I'm basing what I've seen through the past 4 years. Defensively he was the worst Hurricane defenseman this year (of the regulars). He has been consistantly horrible in his own zone. When the playoffs rolled around he got even worse.

He is good in the offensive zone, but his defense is not up to par for a player of his supposed caliber. Given his defensive play, he won't play in the NHL. Not as a defenseman.

the worst???

That Defense was not very good at all. He was easily better than most if not all in my opinion. I wished the Canes had been able to get a top D man rather than a guy like Reddenbach. they really could have used some help back there for Seabrook.

They all did better than he did with their defensive play. He gave away the puck more than anyone since Derek Diener back in the mid 90's
