Why would you go out fighting when they didn't even touch your family or kids? Sure if they start attacking your whole family then you do anything you can to fight back.

But if you fight back and they kill you they might not want to leave any witnesses.

It's different when there is one attacker than five attackers. One attacker you can fight back if he is only armed with a bat and hammer like the 5 suspects in this case were, but start fighting off 5 attackers and you're going to get beaten to death.

There's been some violence on both sides of these clashes, and while I admire Jason Devine for standing up to these thugs, I question his desire to not only openly challenge and confront these groups, but also to openly publish his address on a website which he did do at one time.

I can 100% say that this man has no relations to any anarchist groups. His views may collide with other Calgary activist organizations that may condone anarchy but he does not in any way.
