I think this season has been ok with some very good moments. Frankly Kevin has been the star of this show for the last couple of years.

Sometimes I think this show gets too caught up in the serious story lines that they want to throw in there and it slows the pace down to a crawl.

But 30 Rock is still the best show on Thursday Night, and Outsourced has been the worst. The office falls in the middle somewhere.

Well I thought the Christmas special was really funny. The look on Kevin's face when he found out Holly ate some of the candies are priceless. So happy but then filled with so much disappointment.

But the best part was Dwight wearing the wigs of everyone in the office, I had to pause the show and just sit there laughing for 5 minutes.

Agree with Justin. That Christmas special was awesome. I loved Jim losing it on all those snowmen at the end.

I thought the season started off with a couple good episodes then it got week, and for the most part this season has been week, but the special was awesome, in my opinion the best from the past 3 seasons.

Also, I think the season (series hopefully) is going to end with Michael proposing to Holly.

I was sure in the closing scene that Jim was going to hit Pam in the face with a snowball.

The Christmas episode was hilarious. Dwight making Jim go mad was priceless.

I am starting to think that Ricky Gervais is going to replace Steve Carrell on The Office... it makes sense on several levels, and I almost wonder if Gervais' edgy jokes at the Golden Globes were intentionally meant to build up hype for this transition?

Either way, Gervais was awesome in the original UK version of the show and I think his addition may revive the show (has sucked this year imo).

I think it's been good this year and I've always been harsh on the show. Gervais would be good, as long as he's head writer as well.

I don't think there's any way Gervais comes on now and I'm fine with that. Both shows have much different tones and are funny for different reasons. I think this season has re-energized the show and the writing has been superb.

You just know when a show has run it's course. I hope they just end it before they ruin the name.

I've read that Carrell is done before the end of the season, and the last couple of episodes focus on the staff dealing with Michael leaving.

Bringing in Gervais is about the only thing they can do that'll keep me watching. There have been good moments this season, but I can definitely live without it.

Will Arnett? As long as he plays a copy of Gob, he'd be good.

I did a quick google to see what names are being thrown around the intertubes and the one that really stood out to me was Rhys Darby aka Murray from Flight of the Conchords. I think he would be great in the role as new manager and would really breath some life into the show.

I honestly think they should just end the office, bringing in a new boss is just the same ole with a new wrapper.

I propose ending the series in the darkest manner possible.

They have a fairwell party for Michael, the cakes the hugs some tears. Michael walks to the door one last time and watches as people go back to work as if he wasn't there. A shadow of sadness crosses his face as he turns around and leaves.

He walks across the parking lot to his car, but we hear a sound coming from the trunk. Michael opens the trunk with a serene look on his face and looks in on Dwight who is bound hand and foot, he has a ball gag tied in his mouth and a look of terror on his face. Michael runs one finger down his cheek and whispers "shhhh, it will be over soon" Then he slams the hood shut reaches into his pocket and pulls out a pen like object. He turns around and see's Pam looking out the window , she's crying. Michael waves and whispers "I always loved you" then he pushes the button on his pen and a huge explosion rips through dunder mifflin.

Michael watches the flames licking the building like a hungry lover and a contented smile crosses his face. He walks past the trunk of his car where we hear Dwight screaming, Michael pounds the trunk screaming at Dwight to shut up. Then he gets in the car starts it up and passes two ambulances and a fire truck as the office theme plays slowly and the camera zooms in on a clown holding balloons standing on the corner.

And we fade to black.

Thats how I'd end it.

While Season 6 was mostly abhorrent, both the 'Happy Hour' and 'The Delivery' episodes were pretty good.
