Ya I can't handle the field camping, I know I can't.. it would be hotel or bust for me. Bush camping I am fine, remotely, but not the crowded field crap.. I Know for some that is part of the experience so I am not trying to mock it, just saying it is not for me.
If I was 20 again, sure

One option for Coachella is flying into Los Angeles and renting an RV with some friends and splitting the cost. There's a special parking lot for the RVs at Coachella that's a pretty decent distance from the gates. Kind of gives you the best of both worlds, you can relax and hang out with other Coachellers if you want, but with the luxury of AC and a fridge.
Tented it a few times at Lake Cahuilla which is about the only real campground in the area. Whoever gets there first gets the one or two trees in the shade. The rest get to wake up at 6AM in the 110F heat.
But if the driving in/out of Coachella has actually gotten worse than a few years ago, yikes.

I am headed to both! Going to be a pretty awesome summer.
For Coachella I am flying into LAX and then renting a car and driving out. Anyone else actually going? I was lucky and managed to grab a camping pass and tickets. Can't believe everything sold out so quickly.
Flogging Molly and the Bronx at Sasquatch will be sick. Every other band on the bill is terrible.
I wish i could go check out the Goezrock or reading festival. While I definitely don't like every band on those bills, (Goezrock has a lot of screamo crap that I don't like) there are a good number of bands.
I would love to see Dear Landlord and Old Man Markley! One day I'll get there.....

Ya that is a sick line up, the Buffalo Springfield alone makes it better than any of the other two..

The only thing that sucks about it is Widespread Panic being a headliner. Seems like they headline every other year at Bonnaroo. However, another My Morning Jacket midnight show would be insane.
