Ah, the good ol' channel 51. I remember there was one time when for whatever reason, they didn't scramble one of the shows. It was some show about Russian chicks. I scrambled to get a vhs tape to record it while it was on mute.
And then my dad purchased a totally legit () black box that magically unscrambled everything. It was like hitting the jackpot.
Nowadays, pron is just too easily accessable with the internet. Back in the day, you actually had to work to try to find any.

Well the best part was that it wasn't scrambled it was just "negatived" like channel 40.
So you can make out everything it's just in an odd green and grey colour.
How many of us remember when Superchannel first went on the air? My family had the cable box, I think Star Wars was their first movie.
Years later (in Ontario) I had one of those illegal descramblers. It worked on every channel and PPV event. It cost 250 and I later sold it for 250.

Yes I remember that. If I remember correctly it was 1982. There were 3 scrambled stations, 19, 20 and 21.
I think Superchannel was on 19. Star Wars was the first movie aired. My brother and I were really looking forward to it because we saw the listing in the TV guide. Much to our horror when we turned it on the channel was scrambled. We were both so upset that my father took us to the Palace Theater to watch a double screening of Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back.
Why is it that in any thread where pron gets discussed, Star Wars somehow comes up?
Nerd Porn
Princess Leia, metal bikini.
Chewbacca and the Ewoks for all the furries out there....
In this case however the topic is scrambled channels. The first scrambled channel in Calgary was Superchannel and the first movie they played was Star Wars. It was going to come up eventually
