Iggy Pop "Search and Destroy"

For context, this song was recorded in 1973. It was well ahead of it's time.

This was my wedding song, but because I am a egotistical narcissist, everyone should hear it... and love it.

John Frusciante with River Phoenix - it's a shame to see how all that talent got wasted.

I don't know why, but I love this song:

Love this cover.

The unofficial Australian national anthem, performed by the guy who wrote it and the guy who's probably played it in front of more people than anyone else (except maybe Neil Finn/Crowded House).

Definitely NSFW, but ideal for work if you are quitting.

and another classic Wesley song, relevant to that McDonalds thread. Again, not totally safe for work.

Finally, one last Wesley song that some might like for making cliche jokes about Edmontonians

I felt I should share, as I think this guy was awesome while he lived.

I will also add this. Though it is one video it has parts of multiple songs worth hearing in it. Some may not have seen this.

A couple of more favorites. Believe it or not, I ignored these guys (as well as Screaming Trees) when I saw Alice In Chains at the Paladium in Hollywood in 1992. What an idiot!

The late Ben McMillan was also the lead vocalist for the band Skin Yard which many purists will tell you was the seminal Seattle metal (I hate the term grunge) band. That band featured producing legend Jack Endino on guitar. Check out his website for a wealth of information on a plethora of acts.

I'd be surprised if anyone here has ever heard this, let alone owns the CD.
