Very nice work.
Why does B&W always seem more 'artistic'?
I know there are plenty of awesome colour shots, but I would almost expect B&W to appear dated, but instead they oftem look better than an equivalent colour shot.
I love going through Photo.Net, I get a lot of my desktops from there.

Sort of off topic, but any suggestions on the best way to put my old wedding negatives into high quality digital immages, without breaking the bank?

You should get your I.T dept to look into it, maybe they can help you, if they are not busy that is.

Neeper,
You are the resident photographer here on CP so i wanted to drop a couple questions on you. 8 years ago I did a course in TV and Radio and part of it was composition techniques. Now I'm thinking I'd really like to take a small course in photography. Do you know if there are any evening or weekend courses offered here in Calgary?
Secondly, I am looking into buying a camera now and wanted to ask you what you use and if you don't mind answering, what you paid for it? Obviously I'm not at the same stage as you where you are doing it professionally, but as someone who would like to take it up as a hobby and see where it takes me. I know there are tons of options out there and was thinking taking a course first would help me get a better idea of what would be good for me. I know for a starter it would be well advised to get something more basic, but I'm not the type of person to buy something 'nice' for $300 if I can get something 'great' for $600-$700, if you know what I'm saying.
Anyhow, just thought you'd be the best one to ask. Nice looking site, btw.
This is the one I'm currently looking at:
Canon EOS(SLR) Digital Rebel XT
EDIT: Also forgot to ask, I know there is a Canon Repair store on 16 st in the NE but didn't know if they actually sold cameras. So I was wondering where the best place to go to buy (the camera I provided the link to) would be? Places with good service and so forth?
Thanks in advance.

This is a great camera Eddie. I had it but sold it before applying for a mortgage. Now that we have the mortgage I'm getting it again. I believe the cheapest place is The Camera Store. They sell it with the 18-55 mm lens for $899. If you want it with the 17-85 mm it's $1370. I know that SAIT offers a lot of photography courses.
Or you can try Cont Ed at the UofC www.conted.ucalgary.ca (end plug for my workplace)

You can also give ACAD a try for evening courses. I took some photography courses when attended ACAD for my BFA and a lot of the initial focus is mainly on composition and the rule of thirds.
I'm not sure if Mount Royal offers any evening courses but they would be another good place to check out.
As far as buying the EOS I would recommend that you find the best price in the city, then go to future shop and they will price match plus discount 10% of the difference.

Awesome. Love the shot of the bridesmaids from above. (...and not for the perverted reasons you are all thinking...)
