Sounds pretty good. I am still suprised that Reznor made a soundtrack for a movie about Facebook.

Hell, at one time I would think KMFDM was probably considered "industrial"

If I wanted to listen to "industrial" Ill pull out Ministry/Skinny Puppy/Frontline Assembly.
Nothing pop-like recorded by Ministry...

I used to have the 12" dance single of that.

Well thats because it is exactly what it is. He wrote his first album on a Commodore64 and a Kurtzweil K2000 and a Shure SM58. Not exactly a lot of technology, but then again composers have always utilized the lastest technology wether the public agreed or not. Because the composer doesn't give a s***.

He is composer/producer/engineer/performer and that is what NiN is. The only other person I know of that has complete control of all levels of their own productions and show is Devin Townsend. They're both my heroes.

I’m happy to finally announce the re-issue of the first Nine Inch Nails record “Pretty Hate Machine,” releasing worldwide 11/22. UMe and Bicycle Music Group managed to locate the original mixes, so I went in the studio with Tom Baker and remastered it for a greatly improved sonic experience. In addition, Rob reinterpreted Gary Talpas’ original cover to make for a fresh new package.

It’s been an interesting trip watching the fate of this record float from one set of hands to another (a long and depressing story) but it’s finally wound up in friendly territory, allowing us to polish it up a bit and present it to you now. We had fun revisiting this old friend, hope you enjoy.

I wonder at what point in an artist's career is too soon for a greatest hits album? Is that point before or after a re-issue? Has Bieber re-issued any of his early works yet?

Just thought I would bump this thread to mention that Trent Reznor has just been nominated for a Golden Globe for his scoring of The Social Network.
