Some of you sound very like you certainly know your stuff. Can't help wondering though if this pin might be appropriate.

In all seriousness, I'm guessing most people have or have had a friend or family member go through kidney or gall stones which are incredibly common or know someone with kidney or liver problems and have done their own research.

I think you might want to consider switching doctors or getting a second opinion.

Have you been tested for HIV or Hep C? Pretty scary, I know and I don't mean to drop that bomb over the old Internet, but it'd probably clear somethings up.

I'm sure with all the blood that they have taken out of me in the last 3 months they would of told me that I have HIV.

But finding a job in this area isn't the easiest to do when you're in school and this job allows me to work on homework while I'm at work.

Besides I don't work graveyard all the time... I get off at 7am and then I have tomorrow off (lol) then I have to be in at 7am on Friday....

Gout is a type of arthritis. I don't think it has anything to do with your liver.

From Wiki, the source of all truth:

Quote:
The metatarsal-phalangeal joint at the base of the big toe is the most commonly affected, in around half of all cases. However, it may also present as tophi, kidney stones, or urate nephropathy.
My accountant has gout, and it presents itself as kidney stones for him.

HIV testing is rather expensive so it's not routinely checked unless its highly relevant to the complaint or you ask for it. It wouldn't cause gall or renal stones either.

Gout is the result of mineral deposits (uric acid based IIRC) and therefore may be related to kidney/gallstones.
