A guy that had his lap top stolen rec'd a text message offer to buy it back for $300.
Criminal mastermind.
Guy said he bought it, then noticed a business card.

My buddy lives in Deer Run and some punks broke into his Benz and stole golf clubs and assorted DVDs. They also pooped in his trunk. That's right, someone left a stool in the trunk. WTF is this world coming to when kids break into vehicles to poop in them?

McKenzie Towne eh? I'm across the way in New Brighton. A simple bit of wiring can have your car equipped with a simple immobolizer to make it quite difficult to steal for someone who doesn't know the solution (which will at least combat the car theft part, and as far as valuables, I leave them out of sight/mind anyhow). Otherwise, purchase an alarm with a pager, but disable the siren, to make any thief non the wiser to your knowledge of an intruder in your car. Of course, this requires equipment like a bat. Works well though.
Also, I can wire other things. They are legal....I swear.

That's what he gets for playing golf.....j/k. That should be considered chemical warfare, and subject to 10 years in prison (exaggeration is only slight here IMO, thieves can go *stuff I can't say on CP* themselves)

Wonder if its the same group that hit Douglasdale a few weeks ago. Same thing happened, at least a dozen cars were hit.

One of my old foster kids, who at times sold crack to make a little drinking money, would beat the crap out of any crackheads in the neighbourhood, said he hated the degenerate f*r's, while one had to question his ethical foundation, I have to say we never had any thefts.

If they are above 18 involve the police. If they are under 18 involve a Louisville Slugger to protect your personal property.

My neighbor, a former NHL pugilist, has removed the punks from the park by force. We feel safer when he is in town.

As bad as that is, I have to honestly say that it made me laugh...just a little, kind of like farting in a full elevator when yours is the first stop.

Actually one of the best in the biz, if I say so myself, usually take them at 14 or 15 out of the downtown eastside, by 19 I have em graduated, working, a drivers licence and addicted to strong sweet tea.
I've an ex meth dealer about to ship out with the PPCLI, another ex crack dealer whos renovates Superstores, One kid who is fairly well known in the dubbsteppa scene and has had his tracks played on BBC.
Most other kids from their background end up in Matsqui or Fraser regional.
