If you like sushi... all you can eat, Toyama. $11 and better then most sushi in Calgary.

I am your age as well .... for entertainment,my wife and I usually just hit the ocean spots that have been mentioned. As you mentioned, Stanley Park is a great place
There are so many good restaurants ... recently I have really like YEW in th Four Seasons, not as expensive as you might think.

I agree cheaper sushi is good but if you havent tried one of the highest rated sushi places in the world then perhaps you should there is an obvious difference yet alone an incredible experience.

Tojo will give you a sheet to fill out of your flavour prefrences then he will create for your taste.

He makes a roll that every bite is a different flavour.

The sushi is never frozen and flown overnight.

To call his creations just sushi is an insult to his art.

I usually just go for middle of the road sushi but Tojo's is worth doing once.

Are you seriously that big a feminine hygiene product featuring vinegar and water and smelling like spring time, or are you trying to be funny? I can't tell.

Forgot the mention the Grouse Grind.
If you're both active and want a challenge, this is a 45 min - 1.5 hr hike up Grouse Mountain in North Van.
At the top there's a nice restaurant with the absolute best view in Vancouver.

I must admit, I shamefully have not even done this but know it's great.
