Hurricane Earl Heading for Atlantic Canada

supposed to hit us at 9 am this morning..we're ready for the Earlcain!

it's moved a little further east and is expected to make landfall somewhere between Shelburne and Halifax in the next hour or two. There are heavy rains and gusty winds right now putting quite a bend in the big trees around the yard. The worst is yet to come though.

Hurricane is here, we still have power, although we do have a leak in the ceiling.

Just called the landlord, got his wife, she wouldn't let us talk to him, then when we told her the ceiling was leaking she said "ummm it's a hurricane, put a bucket underneath it!" To which my girlfriend's roommate replied "it's coming through a lightbulb, that's really dangerous!" When she got off the phone she said "Put a bucket underneath it, that fixes the problem! Thanks crazy lady!"
