They should probably start checking her family's backyard for bodies, cause she's on the road to serial killer fame.
I didn't watch the video, reading the thread title was enough to make me sick and ragey.

Anyone wondering about the video-
DON'T WATCH IT
It is exactly what the title says it is and it will enrage you and make you want to become a murderer of teenage girls.

Isn't this a pretty common way of disposing of unwanted pups/kittens?
I think this is where the phrase "the cat's out of the bag" comes from (in addition to some fine Verve lyrics).
Edit: Just noticed Pinner already made that point. And it turns out "let the cat out of the bag" has nothing to do with this - it has to do with pigs.

Dammit. Wish I never saw that video or this thread even. That's just brutal.

This, and throwing them against the barn, and nm.
There must be somebody that grew up at least visiting farms ?
Farm dogs/cats aren't fixed very often.

Wow, I'm really sorry I watched that. I stopped after the second puppy. That is quite possibly one of the most horrific things I've ever seen someone do to an animal. I really hope that woman is identified, and has the book thrown at her.
How can anyone do that?

While I completely agree with you, I always thought the standard practice was to put them in a sac or something. She's throwing them one by one, which to me indicates that she's enjoying it a little more than one who's getting rid of an unwanted or unsustainable litter. Usually on the farm it's done as population control. This looks to be for sport.

We have such a conflicting/hypocritical/strange morality when it comes to the treatment of pets or animals.
Throwing a cat in a dumpster could be viewed as morally worse because it is cruel for the sake of cruelty. Whereas dumping puppies in a river is cruel with an end purpose that arguably justifies it. Kind of like torturing a rat that lives in your garage is unacceptable, whereas killing a rat that lives in your garage is not.
We are strange indeed.

I don't get it.
I guess some people just lack empathy. Because a "normal" person wouldn't really do something like that.
Even if it is a legit way of getting rid of that, you either had to grow up around it, or you're a little bit different.
I suppose if that is a legit way and she saw her father do this countless times, it wouldn't be all the abnormal for her.

I couldn't believe the girl was giggling while she was tossing the pups in the river.
People intentionally hurt animals because they enjoy hurting things, or because it makes them feel powerful. Many of these people would hurt other people if they could get away with it. They just choose to hurt animals because animals are more helpless than people.

Wow. That was even more disturbing than I thought it would be. It is the sounds that bothered me more.
Maybe that is one way to dispose of unwanted puppies, which I have no reason to believe, but there is absolutely no reason to tape, and then post it. That takes it into sicko territory.

Wait, did the chick tape herself doing this? I assumed that someone else caught it on tape.

I was going to post the same thing until I watched the video. This person is pitching them 20-30 feet in the air while she is doing it. Just get the 5 gallon pail and drown them if you are doing it as a humane way of destroying them.
There was definately pleasure taken in this.

I'm not a dog or animal person by any stretch. I never understand the bond, but that's just me and I have no issue with people who love their pets as much as they do. Having said that, this video was pretty disgusting.
I'm just curious why you would film something like this. I don't get it. The cat dumpster lady didn't know she was being taped. This chick had a friend or relative tape it. Very bizzare.

Maybe.
But I'll devil's advocate here in defence of this teenager.
People who have horrible jobs to do (doctors, morgue workers, slaughterhouse employees, proctologists, etc.) adapt to the unpleasant work they have to do. If they can't do this - by dissociating themselves from the task at hand, using humour, or simply becoming numb or callous - they will lose their heads.
I'm working with the theory this girl lives on a farm, deals with unpleasant things relating to animals all the time, and was given the task of disposing of these unwanted pups. She could have done this in a number of different ways, but chose a method that is less messy than most alternatives, and that does not result in her having to deal with the bodies. She's dissociating herself from the reality of what she's doing. Her apparent enjoyment of the process is simply a method of coping.
As for the video, there's a generational gap here: kids today videotape the hell out of everything. They're digikids. It's not the olden days where one guy on the block owned a video camera the size of a VW Rabbit, and it was a big effort to tape anything. Now, anyone can do it, often with no pre-planning whatsoever. So the fact of it being videotaped may have nothing to do with premeditation, enjoyment of the experience, or glorification of the activity.
Or, alternatively, she could be a sicko.

Can't believe anybody is trying to defend this. There is no justification for this video, period.
