^ There can yes. But it is rare now. Clearcare can be mixed with anything as basically it is sterile Saline Solution once it is neutralized. The biggest issue with mixing and matching is that if there is a problem with a solution it is hard to pinpoint which one is the culprit.

It is always a good idea to stick with the solution that your eye-care professional recommended.

I use this stuff which, as far as I can tell, is exactly the same as Clear Care, except they always include one new container per bottle. Same price if not cheaper than Clear Care (often $6/bottle)

http://www.staininggrid.com/ is a good place to see which solutions match up with what Contact materials to ensure the greatest comfort. If you look, clearcare is good across the board.
