I'll pick up a Blizzard on the way home from work today. I know Cheryl Bernard was making Blizzards at Olympic Square at lunchtime - wish I could have made it there.
They took wonderful care of my 1 year old girl when she broke her arm this year, I'll be in today to buy a few Blizzards for sure.

Speaking of children's hospital, what's the old site being used for these days?

If you kid does need to go to the hospital however, skip going to the other ones, and go straight to the Children's.

We had to take our son there for (thankfully) a relatively minor issue. We're not big DQ people, but I will be taking the kids for some 'ice cream' tonight.

We had our daughter there once too, as she wasn't keeping anything (including water) down, and she needed an IV. They gave her really great care, and all of the emergency rooms are private. That alone makes a big difference.

My brother was born with holes in his aorta and had two open heart surgeries as a little baby. One of them when he was a few days old, and then another at a couple of years old I think. My parents went through a lot with him. I will definitely head to DQ tonight.

I think it's real neat that DQ does this, and it is great PR for them. Anyone know about how much money they raise each year?

So much for that idea, DQs are packed! You'd think people were getting free blizzards the way the crowds were.

I bought one today and I didn't even know this was happening, and I don't normally buy them either.

Not sure about last year's figure.

Since 1984, DQ has raised over $81 million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
