I recently gave the woman i'm marrying her first real tour of Calgary. There are two things that impressed her more than anything.
1) Lake Louise / Moraine Lake
2) A really good steak (we went to Vintage). She's still raving about it two weeks later.

If you're here before the 12th, there is always the Calgary Aerospace Museum. Pretty cool place by itself, but right now they have one of two operating Lancaster Bombers left in the world. Most folks aren't plane buffs, but that is one pretty cool piece of history.

And Calgary Science Centre has Body Worlds. http://www.calgaryscience.ca/

If my comment was 1D it would be a line. (I think your sarcasm detector may have registered a false positive.)

hey flames85
i don't know where she's from, but one thing my wife and i did a couple weeks back when we came to calgary was get a day pass and take the train everywhere - it was fun, we don't have anything like that in kelowna.
one place we ate was at melrose (sports bar?) on 17th. the food was really good and the prices were reasonable.
catch a stamps game if she's into football (and if she is then she's a keeper!! )
i know on a previous trip to calgary we were downtown one afternoon and stumbled across a huge festival (latin i think) - it was awesome - so check for cool things like that

Apparently. I just discovered this myself. I was actually gonna suggest the bobsled but I figured I'd check their website first it seems the summer rides don't run anymore.
