Read the artical a few months ago about him in Maxim, then again the other night on CNN. This kid is awesome. Sure he is wrecking peoples things, which isnt too cool at all, but come on, it would be kinda fun to do what he is doing.

I bet your singing a new tune when your doing 15 years, sharing a cell with a guy named 'ten inch Teddy' performing his own personal cavity search's when it's lights out.

This guy has watched "Catch me if you can" a few too many times and if history has tought us anything, its that you will always get caught

Im not saying id do it, calm down.

I said the whole fugitive thing, evading the people trying to catch you, flying from one place to another, teaching your self how to fly. Its just a cool concept. The fact the US government cant catch this kid, the FBI offered him personally $10,000 to turn him self in. They are desperate, and he is having a hell of a time.

Yes he will get caught, and yes he will go to jail. In less he dies trying to land a plane before he gets caught, which also wouldn't surprise me.

But your guaranteed to see a movie about this kid a few years after he is caught, it would make a good story for a movie.

Your just jealous your story wasn't posted in Maxim... don't lie

Yeah I never said that stealing the plane was alright. Just wanted to point out that these people probably got a new plane after the fact and weren't out a ton of money with nothing to show for it. I also don't live in Winnipeg anymore.

and he is caught....

Police in the Bahamas say they have caught the teenage U.S. fugitive known as the "Barefoot Bandit."

That didnt take long, the island isnt that big.
He should have tried hiding in a big city.
Idiot

I know the pace of life is slower in the Bahamas, but is it really fair to call their police
Bohemians?

There is something almost noble of living off the grid like this and occasionaly steel a few things. It speaks to our desire to escape society.

Except for the stealing of high end items like cars and planes for the thrill of it.

This kid is not a hero, he's a criminal and hopefully he's going to pay a criminal's price.

I also heard that the kid likes to carry a gun around with him as well.

And its irrelevant if the owners of the plane or cars have insurance, that doesn't make it ok for this punk to arbitrarily take it.

He wasn't stealing cars and planes to survive or feed his family, and he broke into peoples houses which is an invasion no matter what the reason.

He's not noble, he's a spoiled punk who probably watches too much T.V. and plays too many video games and thinks that he's smarter then he is.

Good luck in prison.
