thanks for robbing this kid of his childhood and hanging a life sentence on him - why don't people like this mom take birth control?

Well that would be even worse for the poor kid, then he wouldn't even exist. Geez, way to kick him while he's down.

After reading this there are still so many questions. Was it ingested? Snorted? Injected? For what purpose? How did the father not know? How is this only 7 years?

When he becomes a teen and then adult and notices that most other people have things like a job and a place to live and a family and he doesn't you seriously don't think he's going to notice the difference? When he's old enough to understand what happened to him you don't think he's going to be outraged at the injustice? Life's not fair, but this is just too much.

No, I don't. He will be much too busy dealing with seizures and the loss of impulse control. If it is as severe as it sounds then I am not sure if he will ever be capable of empathy. It doesn't sound like he will be able to comprehend much. I doubt very much he will understand what was done to him or why.

I wish we had better methods to rehabilitate and a system in place where these rehabilitated persons can be of use to society in a controlled environment.

my comment was meant more along the lines of "why is this woman even a mother" - and using the term mother is a massive discredit to all the caring moms out there.

my guess is that if his mom gave him some coke - i am assuming that the kids life to date has not been filled with trips to the ice cream store or the beach.
