Couldn't agree more. Grew up there myself, spent my entire youth in the area. My first 8 on the older side east of Acadia drive, and the last 10 in the Estates west of Acadia. Love the character of the older half though. The streets just seemed so much more intimate and secluded. In three years when my parents retire, I am buying their house and moving back to the area to raise a family. 4 of my childhood friends have done the same already, which speaks volumes about the community.

2 Private lakes, private arena, 7 schools I can think of, massive yards and virtually crime free... the list goes on.All the pond hockey you could ever dream of playing as well. I bet I spent 1/10 of my childhood, playing shinny on that lake. Also probably the quietest and compact Safeway's you've ever seen. Literally about the size of a gymnasium. You can literally complete a full shopping trip in 20 minutes, in and out.

Yeah we've been here a year now and love it. I wish I grew up here haha.

They offer a camp for kids called Cougar Camp.
